General Questions
Diamond Cove Concierge Medicine
What is the cost?
Our prices are extremely competitive within the local Naples market and are more than fair considering the quality of care and level of service provided, the reassurance of knowing that your personal physician is a board-certified and extremely well-trained Medical Doctor (M.D.), having attended all levels of education, including undergraduate, post-graduate, medical school, internship, and residency at universities, programs, and hospitals solely within the continental United States.
You will find that our membership fees are not the least expensive, nor are they the most expensive in Naples. Investing in your or your loved one’s health and well-being is far more important than anything material that you can buy.
Not all physicians are created equal. Details regarding physician training, doctorate degree, and experience are of the utmost importance. Not all physicians have been part of the Naples community very long. Dr. Becker and her husband have been active and respected members of the community since 2009, they have raised their family in Naples, and are well ingrained into the Naples community. Dr. Becker is quite adept at the nuances of the medical community, including her ability to facilitate with referrals.

Why do people switch to concierge medicine?
- High achievers are drawn to concierge medicine. Well informed or well educated consumers who are proactive about their health often join a concierge practice because they seek a proactive physician who is also their health and wellness advocate. They are highly motivated to find a quality concierge physician because they understand the benefits of maintaining the health that they have intently sustained.
- Patients with complex coexisting conditions require detailed, attentive, and frequent care. People with a long list of medical issues and/or medications, feel lost and after being rushed in and back out of a traditional doctor’s visit, may be even more confused than when they arrived. They may seek concierge care where the doctor can schedule a visit to calmly review each and every issue and medication with the patient. Dr. Becker will often provide a summary or list that she will review in detail with each and every patient, about each and every visit if this will help and the patient desires this.
- Medical scares. Some people chose a concierge physician as a source of security after a moment of reckoning. A close call or jarring experience may lead a person to re-examine previous healthcare decisions, finally concluding that their concierge physician will be their advocate towards wellness, something the traditional 5-minute doctor simply does not have the time to do.
- Done with the waiting. People become very tired of waiting days to many weeks to get an appointment with their doctor, followed by waiting long periods of time in the lobby to be called into the exam room, and then waiting even longer in the exam room to finally get that 5 minutes with the doctor. Almost always, we offer same or next day visits, with usually minimal to absolutely zero waiting time in the lobby or exam room.
- Peace of mind. For many, developing a closer relationship with their personal physician who gets to know them very well, along with the 24/7 access for emergencies, provides peace of mind. There is great comfort in knowing that you or your loved one will get the care needed when it is needed, whether in the middle of the day, weekend, or middle of the night.

Primary Care as Concierge
At Diamond Cove Concierge Medicine, our patient panel is limited to 150 patients, which allows Dr. Becker to spend up to 2 hours for an initial visit or annual history & physical, and at least 30 minutes for an acute illness visit or chronic care follow-up, although she will schedule whatever amount of time is necessary for each patient on an individual basis.
